A Bit About Me

Behind the Scenes

It all started when my third grade class visited an old army fort on a field trip. I had a bit of money for a souvenir, and a tube of brightly colored seed beads caught my eye. I brought the beads home and made the best bracelet an eight year old could make out of one color of beads and minty dental floss.

My passion grew as I learned weaving techniques. I was approximately 13 when my mom took me along on one of her fabric shopping trips, and I fondly remember stumbling across a beading booklet detailing a netting weave design. I stood there in that spot memorizing the steps so that I could create my own necklace at home, and I did just that.

The rest, as they say, is history. My free time available for creating and beading has waxed and waned over the years, but my love for it has remained strong.

I decided it was time to share my love with all of you because love is always better when it's shared.
